1977 Ford F-100 Custom Explorer Pickup Truck PRICE REDUCED in St Thomas, ON

Seller note:

Up for sale is my 1977 Ford F100 pickup truck with the Custom Explorer option package.
This truck is powered by the original 351M engine and C6 transmission.
It has nearly all original paint and factory tan coloured Explorer stripes.
The following repairs have been done since last March:
Brand new Edelbrock 4bbl Performer intake manifold ( and gaskets)
Brand New Holley 600cfm 4bbl carburetor
New valve cover gaskets
Engine has been detailed and painted original Ford blue
Transmission service and shift kit installed (brand new fluid and gaskets)
New windshield (old one had fogged around edges).
New washer reservoir (from LMC truck)
New gas tank, straps sending unit and fill hoses
New temperature sending unit
New oil pressure switch
Brand new dashboard cover (Light tan plastic overlay from LMC truck) to match original brown and tan interior.
New front brakes ( rotors and pads)
New front tires by Hercules size LT235/75/R15 (rears are Goodyear Wranglers at 75% remaining tread life and are the matching correct size)
New wiper blades
Topper has been refinished also
Now for the only bad news:
Until just recently it ran great with the new carb and intake but unfortunately the engine has developed a knock in the bottom end and I believe it to be a main journal. The reason that I am selling is that I need a reliable tow vehicle that I can use right now and not a project vehicle. If I had more time I would have the engine rebuilt but I just do not have the time to do so right now.
I have been using this truck as a work vehicle to tow my trailer since last March.
This truck is still quite solid despite the minor rust issues. The undercarriage and frame is very solid as it had been oiled for many years previous to my ownership.
This truck still has many years of life left in it and with a bit of engine work will be just fine. It is an ideal candidate for a restoration and nice daily driver.
I just took it off the road today as I bought another work vehicle.
I am looking for $1700 or any best reasonable offer.
